·         Awarded Nov 15, 2012

·         Recognized for pollution prevention, energy reduction, conservation of natural resources

·         KCST was only one of eight of ~ 300 Honda suppliers to be recognized

·         KCST achieved Zero landfill status, only the 7^th location in the state to do so

·         67% reduction in hazardous waste shipment

·         Printing conservation prevented the use/waste of 500,000 sheets of paper

·         Styrofoam was eliminated from café with reusable plates replacement

·         Formed a “Green Team” which meets monthly

·         Sustainability program includes community service program which donated over 1500 hours last year
